For years—decades, really—our community has dreamed of building a permanent home for ice sports and year-round programming in the Midcoast. That dream has been shared in living rooms, locker rooms, coffee shops, and town halls. It’s been shaped by passionate parents, determined coaches, and generations of kids who fell in love with the game but never had a rink to truly call their own.

Today, we’re excited to share something big: Midcoast Arena is officially moving forward—and this site is your new hub for updates, events, and ways to get involved

Why It Matters

In just the past three seasons, youth participation in our area has skyrocketed. We’ve seen 325% growth across Midcoast Youth Hockey’s programs—and we’ve run out of room. We believe Midcoast Arena is more than a solution. It’s a chance to build something lasting, inclusive, and locally led.

This time, the conditions are right. The energy is real. And the support is growing fast.
